Invited by Ford Belgium, the Belgian clubs, which are fond of the Ford brand, had the opportunity to gather at Ford Lommel Proving Ground on 2 April. A day of enjoyment for all lovers of the brand with the blue oval, marked by freezing weather, but even more by the enthusiasm of the clubs and the teams at Ford Lommel Proving Ground.
This was an unusual event, never seen before in Ford's history in Belgium, where the participants were allowed to drive their own cars for a considerable part of the 105 kilometres of the test track. An anthology of vehicles, from the antique Ford T to the robust F150 pick-ups, not forgetting the famous RS models, the mythical Mustang, the hard-working Transit or the unusual Capri Consul, Anglia, Mercury...
A unique experience, which was enhanced throughout the day with dynamic events highlighting both the qualities of Ford products and the expertise and versatility of the teams at Ford Lommel Proving Ground. Among the most popular events of the day were the test drive of the electric Mustang Mach-E, the sporting and off-road experiences, and the "Skid-car" trials, a unique in Belgium learning experience for better car control.
There were countless happy faces when the participants left the grounds. And the requests for a second edition remained.
